There seems to be an inherent desire among us people to place other people in boxes, bases on someone's group affiliation. By portraying five randomly selected older people, I want to show their individuality - something that is often taken away from them as they change and grow older.I have chosen to portray each person with a series of anonymous and stereotype images and then contrast it with audio recordings from interviews with them. In the interviews they share thoughts and short stories from their lives, which gives us an opportunity to feel for each person, beyond old age.
