It's not a beautiful place

In the video we follow the research work for an art project, where the artist and her mother go back to the old retirement home where her grandmother worked. A place the artist herself had an inexplicable, fascination for as a child.  In the video you hear a fragmentary and ambivalent conversation about this place and the memories it resurfaces, which becomes a metaphor for the lack of, but also the importance of the immeasurable - such as the value of the sublime, care work but also the artist's role in society.
